Biomedical Testing Machines
ADMET provides biomedical materials testing systems for tension, compression, bending, torsion and biaxial testing. ADMET systems are used in a diverse set of applications from testing absorbable fiber based products to biomedical tissue adhesives, from bone to spinal implants, from stents to dental wire to intraocular lenses and more. • Single column, Dual Column, Mini/Micro Test Systems, and Torsion Test Systems with capacities from 50 grams to 600kN; capable of both static and fatigue testing to 20 Hz. • Provide grips, fixtures and accessories including extensometers, deflectometers, fluid baths, heating and cooling systems to meet a diverse set of testing requirements in vitro and in vivo. • ADMET's on-site service and calibration team includes over 100 individuals in over 40 locations. • We also offer web based and on-site training. • ASTM and ISO test standards and are capable of measuring mechanical properties such as durability, elongation, offset yield, stiffness, strength, toughness and load versus number of cycles to failure. • Each of our systems can be tailored to accommodate various specimen sizes and faster test speeds. • Multiple actuators for biaxial testing as well as the option to add features to our PC based control software, MTESTQuattro® are available.
Leading companies and universities have used ADMET biomedical testing systems to determine the mechanical properties of bone, bone screws, orthopaedic and spinal implants, tissue, suture materials, stents, medical adhesives, dental wire, syringes, tendons and more. ADMET offers biaxial, compression, fatigue, flexural and tensile testing systems with capacities from 50 grams to 600kN; capable of both static and fatigue testing to 20 Hz. We also provide grips, fixtures and accessories including fluid baths, heating and cooling systems to meet a diverse set of testing requirements in vitro and in vivo. Standard systems are provided to perform tests according to ASTM and ISO test standards. Each of our systems can also be tailored to accommodate various specimen sizes and shapes, faster test speeds, multiple actuators, as well as complex control profiles for unusual tests. ADMET's on-site service and calibration team includes over 100 individuals in over 40 locations. We also offer web based and on-site training.
Biaxial Testing SystemsADMET offers biaxial testing systems for a variety of medical testing applications from performing a durability test in an orthopaedic implant to simulating the insertion of a needle into bone to static and fatigue testing of spinal implants.
